Hello! May I just sort of flail at you for ten straight minutes about how much I am absolutely infatuated with this story? Like, honestly. Everything about it. I have actually been PINING for a hipster AU ever since I watched the very first episode of this show and within the first thirty seconds was already going "OH MY GOD WHAT IS THIS BOY EVEN WEARING? WHAT IS THIS STYLE? I LOVE HIM, HE IS LIKE THE INDIE KID OF MEDIEVAL TIMES" and no one I said this to understood what the hell I was talking about--but then, now, there is this fic, and it makes me all sorts of wonderfully overjoyed. Hearts in my eyes, seriously.

Things I especially adore:
-Merlin's characterization and the intricate little details of it
-how hipsters are supposed to come off as irritating and pretentious, but you made it work so that all these characters were actually completely endearing, despite the stereotype
-Gwaine! and Will!
-"Kingdom" (what a perfect title for it), and the entire idea of Merlin's photography project on Arthur. these lines actually gave me chills: "Merlin's putting together a collection that is going to blow his career out of the water. He's going to be famous. He's going to be wanted by everyone and anyone. This collection, from what I've seen, is probably the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen" and "Well, to be frank, it's the most epic love letter ever written"
-cactus named Mordred, oh my god
-how wonderful and pitch-perfect the last scene is, and how it totally fits the quirkiness of their relationship

I will stop rambling now, honestly, but here are some final words: basically I want to give you ten thousand gold stars for writing this, the fic of my dreams ♥
