OMG. THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT THESE COMMENTS THAT DON'T EXCITE MY GIRLY BITS.

I'm glad you liked all the bits that made it a romantic comedy. Who knew so many genres were in one little story line? GAH.

Queer politics: I'm so glad you picked that up because you are right, without that subtle realization that although we are all "queer brothern" our experiences and struggles are different. So often, I see a startling amount of queer on queer accusations and hate and it just breaks my heart. You will find, if you read any of my Karl/Chris (rps) or Jim/Bones (star trek) that LGBTQ issues are pretty much a staple in many of my stories. It goes with writing long into the night and thinking about all these things for my classes. ; )

The mash up of intimacy in anonymous sex is such an interesting topic to me and I wanted to explore how in anonymous situations, not only can we express our selves sexually but I think we find a link to be freer after sex is out of the way. Not only is that interesting but I found Arthur's struggle to find intimacy from the other direction, the direction of knowing someone, to be something that I think we can all relate and understand the disconnect.

I'm glad you liked the ending. I thought about not putting it in there because it just seems like a silly porn tack on but I figured it was a Rom-Com and the readers deserved some porn that didn't involve glory holes. ; )

Thank you for leaving such a fucking lovely and delicious comment. No fucking joke. This comment made this entire experience worth while. I was feeling a bit down last night as I was finally sitting down to read bigbangs and was like: Oh god, all these are better than mine because they have all this depth and beauty and was generally feeling ill about my story but then I woke up with this comment and it has totally restored faith that this story's deeper elements weren't too hard to find and that I have connected to some people.

Thank you for reading and reviewing. Seriously.
