Merlin's creepy-as-fuck sentient magic. And Arthur's unerring devotion. Oh, Merlin, you poor thing- I love how their love grounds Merlin. How without Arthur, he'd seemingly rip the world apart. Caring, beautiful, human Merlin who is so powerful, his humanity can't comprehend it and the sacrifices he's willing to make for Arthur.
And Gwaine... such a fucking sweetheart he slays me. I am so glad you can't write without him making a cameo. I love him. OT3- I swear- I can't even begin to imagine the helplessness he would have felt when he saw he couldn't help Merlin.
